Our Controller line is built in Singapore, a leading global financial hub, and reflects the discipline required for quarter-close execution: decision clarity, controlled workflow, evidence capture, and review cadence.
2. Who is Maximus International Group, and how is it related?
Maximus International Group (MIG) is a Singapore-headquartered operating group company, focused on building practical operating systems across four lines: Controller, Safeguard, Scale, and Acquire. Our official Group website is: maximusintlgroup.com.
We operate from Singapore and support clients across major finance markets, with working coverage aligned to Singapore, New York, and London business hours. We are not affiliated with other organisations that use similar “Maximus” names in other industries or regions.
Maximus International Group sets group-wide standards for governance, documentation and product quality. Maximus Controller applies those standards specifically to financial control and quarter-close products.
3. What is Maximus Controller?
Maximus Controller is a licensed quarter-close governance system for finance teams. It helps standardise ownership, evidence discipline, escalation, and sign-off quality so the close becomes more repeatable, defensible, and leadership-ready.
4. How is Maximus Controller Different From Close Software?
Close software automates workflows and activities inside a platform. Maximus Controller standardises the operating model around the close: ownership, review logic, evidence expectations, escalation discipline, and sign-off structure. It is designed to work with existing accounting systems and ERP environments.
5. What is Maximus Controller not?
It is not an ERP, not a consolidation platform, not a reconciliation engine, and not a substitute for accounting, tax, legal, or regulatory advice. It is a governance standard for running the close with more control.
6. Where can I buy Maximus Controller products?
Maximus Controller products are sold only through the official Maximus Controller website and its authorised checkout flow.
7. How do I know if a listing is official?
An official listing routes through the Maximus Controller website and its authorised checkout flow. If you see the materials sold elsewhere, it is not an authorised listing
8. What are the differences between T1, T2 and T3 licences
T1 – Department Licence
For one department or team within a single legal entity (for example, the Group Finance team or the Corporate Accounting team).T2 – Company Licence
For one legal-entity company and its internal departments. Subsidiaries and unrelated companies are not included.T3 – Group / Enterprise Licence
For a defined group of legal entities (for example, a holding company and its operating subsidiaries) that share a quarter-close process and want one standard system across entities.
The underlying kit is the same; the licence defines how widely it may be used.
9. Who is the Quarter-Close Controller Kit designed for?
The kit is designed for CFOs, group financial controllers, finance directors and senior accountants who are responsible for quarter-close and statutory reporting, and who want a disciplined control environment without commissioning a bespoke consulting project.
10. What formats are the deliverables provided in?
Deliverables are provided as digital files only (for example: PDF, DOCX, XLSX and related formats). They are designed to be opened on standard office software without special add-ins. No printed materials are shipped.
11. Can we edit the documents?
Yes, but within defined boundaries. The kit is supplied with clearly marked editable zones (for example, yellow-highlighted fields and defined tables). You may adapt those zones to your organisation. The core layout, structure and reserved wording are locked and must not be altered.
Authenticity, Licensing & Delivery
12. Where can I buy Maximus Controller products?
Maximus Controller products are sold only through the official Maximus Controller website at maximuscontroller.com.
Purchases are completed via our authorised checkout flow. If you purchased elsewhere, it is not an official purchase.
13. Do you sell through resellers, affiliates, or marketplaces?
No. We do not authorise resellers or marketplaces to distribute Maximus Controller products.
This includes marketplace listings, template stores, or third-party “bundle” sellers. If you see Maximus Controller materials offered elsewhere, it is not an authorised listing.
14. How do I know if a listing is official?
An official listing will route you to maximuscontroller.com and its authorised checkout flow.
If a listing requests payment off-site, offers “instant access” without the official checkout, or provides files directly from a third-party platform, it is not authorised.
15. What is a licence key, and where do I find it?
A licence key is your purchase identifier and proof of licence.
It is delivered in your receipt/confirmation after purchase and may also appear in your order details page, depending on the checkout flow used.
16. Why do you require licence verification for support and updates?
Support and buyer updates are provided only to verified purchases to protect licensed buyers, reduce fraud, and ensure we provide the correct tier and file set.
If you contact us for access help or updates, we may request your licence key (or order email/reference) to verify your purchase.
17. I found your materials being sold elsewhere. What should I do?
If you find Maximus Controller materials sold on another website or marketplace, treat it as an unauthorised listing.
You may report it to the platform. If you wish, you can also email us the listing URL so we can log it for enforcement review.
18. Are products delivered physically or digitally?
All Maximus Controller products are delivered digitally.
No physical goods are shipped.
Commercial Terms
19. Do you offer refunds?
No. All sales are final.
Because products are delivered digitally and access is granted upon purchase, we do not provide refunds except where required by applicable law.
Editing & Usage Rights
20. Can I edit the documents?
Edits are allowed only in clearly marked editable zones (where applicable).
Protected branding, reserved wording, and locked design/structure must remain intact. This ensures the governance standard remains consistent and prevents accidental misuse.
21. Can I share, resell, or redistribute the files?
No.
Your purchase grants a licence to use the materials internally within the scope of your purchased tier. Resale, redistribution, public upload, or sharing outside the licensed organisation is not permitted.
22. Are there refunds?
No. All purchases are for digital licence-based products and are non-refundable. We recommend reviewing the product description, tier comparison and FAQs carefully before purchasing, and starting with the tier that best matches your current structure.
23. How is payment processed?
Payment is completed on our specialised buyer payment site, operated by our Merchant-of-Record partner. You will be redirected there from the Maximus Controller website to complete the transaction securely. The payment site issues receipts, manages taxes where applicable and delivers your digital files.
24. Why am I redirected away from the Maximus Controller website at checkout?
For buyer protection and compliance, we use a dedicated, secure payment platform as our Merchant of Record. Redirecting you to this specialised buyer payment site ensures that payment processing, invoicing and tax treatment are handled correctly, while Maximus Controller focuses on the design and maintenance of the control kits.
25. Can we purchase on behalf of multiple entities under one licence?
Only if you hold a T3 – Group / Enterprise Licence and your entities are part of the defined group for that licence. T1 and T2 licences are not permitted to be shared across multiple companies or unrelated entities.
26. What support is included with the purchase?
Maximus Controller operates on a self-service basis. The kit includes structured documentation, guidance and FAQs to support implementation. We do not provide individual consulting, calls or bespoke configuration services as part of the licence.
27. How do updates and revisions work?
From time to time, we may release revised versions of the Quarter-Close Controller Kit. When material updates are issued for your tier, we communicate them via our buyer communications channel and/or email updates, with instructions on how to access the latest version from the buyer payment site.
28. Can we use the kit as evidence for auditors or regulators?
The kit is designed to support a clearer control environment and more consistent documentation. However, it does not constitute legal, audit or regulatory advice, and auditors or regulators remain independent. You remain responsible for determining whether your use of the kit meets the requirements applicable to your organisation.
29. How can we contact you for procurement or billing questions?
For procurement, billing or access questions, you may use the contact details provided on the Maximus Controller website or within the buyer payment site. We review administrative queries, but operational, accounting or advisory questions may not receive an individual response.
30. What is a license key?
A license key is a unique code issued at checkout that identifies your purchase and the usage rights that come with it (tier, seats, and permitted use).
31. Do I need to verify my license to use the product?
No — You can simply download and use your files. Verification is mainly for:
• confirming authenticity,
• recovering access if emails are lost,
• resolving “I can’t find my purchase” situations.
32. Where do I find my license key?
Your license key is normally available in:
• your purchase confirmation/receipt email, and/or
• the “My Orders” page for the email you used at checkout (Lemon Squeezy).
If you used multiple emails, make sure you check the one you used for payment.
33. What if my license shows “Invalid” or “Not Found”?
Most “Invalid/Not Found” cases come from one of these:
• Wrong email used at checkout (check receipts across emails).
• Copied extra characters (spaces before/after the key).
• Key from a different product/provider (make sure it’s the Maximus Controller key).
• Order still processing (wait a short while and retry).
If it still fails, send us a general inquiry via our enquiries webpage with your order email, licence key and order reference (from receipt/My Orders).
34. I purchased, but I can’t find the receipt email
First check:
• spam/junk,
• promotions tab (Gmail),
• your payment email address (the one used at checkout).
Then use My Orders with the same email you used for payment. If you still can’t locate it, send us a general inquiry via our enquiries webpage with your order email, licence key and order reference (from receipt/My Orders).
35. What are the usage rights for each tier?
Your tier is defined by what you purchased:
• Tier 1 (Department): up to 25 users
• Tier 2 (Company): unlimited seats (single company)
• Tier 3 (Group / Enterprise): holdco + up to 5 subsidiaries
Your license key reflects the tier you bought.
36. Can I share the files or resell the kits?
No. Your purchase grants a license to use, not ownership, to redistribute.
• No reselling
• No re-packaging
• No public sharing
• No “template flipping”
37. Can I transfer the license to another company or person?
No, licenses are intended for the purchasing organisation/person. If you need a transfer (acquisition/restructure), send us a general inquiries via our enquiries webpage with details and we’ll advise what’s possible.
38. Do you provide refunds?
No. All sales are final. No refunds.

39. What if I need help with access or verification?
